FACTORY PROJECT
Scaling Mission-Critical NiZn Battery Manufacturing in Europe
As part of our commitment to a sustainable European value chain, the Baltic Factory Project will establish one of the region’s most advanced production sites for critical battery materials. Beginning construction in 2026 and completing in 2028, the facility will produce both cathode and anode materials directly from responsibly sourced raw materials, ensuring full traceability and alignment with our environmental commitments. The factory will feature dedicated cathode and anode production lines, supported by robotic automation, precision welding systems, and advanced battery formation and testing stations to guarantee high‑performance, zero‑defect output. The production output of the company is about 6.4 GWh of energy store capacity annually or about 3.2 million Ni-Zn batteries. With fully automated robotics lines for welding and battery testing and state of the art cathode and anode lines the factory drives continuous innovation, the site will include its own research laboratory, staffed by highly skilled researchers, engineers, and technical specialists focused on next‑generation battery chemistry and clean manufacturing methods. Designed under our strict environmental principles, the plant will emit no effluents, odors, smoke, or uncontrolled waste, operating as a closed and clean process aligned with EU sustainability standards. With this project, we strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy, secure a resilient supply chain, and create high‑value jobs while delivering world‑class materials for energy‑storage systems across critical industries.
